Focus Areas

Refugees Displaced by War and Conflict

Ukrainians

The conflict in Ukraine has created one of the largest refugee crises in Europe, with millions displaced. Supporting Ukrainians who have resettled in European countries like Poland, Germany, and Spain involves providing social services, employment support, and educational programs to help them integrate.

Supporting Democracy in the UK

The World Diplomacy Organization (WDO) is dedicated to promoting democratic values and good governance globally. In the context of the United Kingdom, where democratic principles are well-established yet face contemporary challenges, the WDO proposes a comprehensive Programme of Action to support and enhance these foundations.

Urgent Appeal for Emergency Protection and Support

Syria

The Syrian coastal regions, particularly Latakia province, are witnessing a dangerous escalation of attacks targeting religious minorities, including Alawites, Christians, and Druze. Reports indicate cases of mass killings, forced displacement, and destruction of places of worship, in addition to a rise in kidnappings and systematic assaults against civilians and human rights activists.

The escalation has resulted in the assassination of two human rights defenders while documenting these crimes, while 17 others remain at extreme risk due to their work in collecting evidence on war crimes and crimes against humanity.

World Diplomacy Organization (WDO)
Subject: Urgent Appeal for Humanitarian Intervention in Gaza and to End Human Rights Violations

His Excellency António Guterres, UN Secretary-General
Ms. Volker Türk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights
United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)

Your Excellencies,

The World Diplomacy Organization (WDO) submits this urgent humanitarian appeal to the United Nations and all competent international bodies, calling for immediate intervention to stop the grave violations of human rights in the Gaza Strip and to ensure the protection of civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.

The situation has become catastrophic, resulting in thousands of civilian casualties—including children and women—under severe blockade and shortages of food, medicine, and fuel, while bombardments continue to target residential areas, hospitals, and relief centers.

We urgently call for:

  1. An immediate and comprehensive humanitarian ceasefire to halt military operations against civilians.
  2. Unimpeded access for humanitarian and medical aid, allowing international relief teams to operate safely.
  3. An independent international investigation into all violations of international humanitarian law and alleged war crimes.
  4. Effective protection for humanitarian workers, journalists, and human rights defenders.

As an independent organization devoted to promoting peace and global dialogue, the World Diplomacy Organization calls upon the international community to fulfill its moral and legal obligations toward the Palestinian people and to activate mechanisms for achieving a just and lasting peace in the region.

The organization also reserves the right to submit documented cases and evidence to competent international judicial authorities to ensure accountability and end impunity.

Respectfully,

Western Sahara

The conflict in Western Sahara remains one of the longest-standing and most complex territorial disputes in North Africa, combining legal, political, humanitarian, and strategic dimensions.
Since Spain’s withdrawal in 1975, the territory has been disputed between the Kingdom of Morocco, which controls most of the land, and the Polisario Front, which demands full independence under the name the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), supported by Algeria and several African and Latin American states.

After nearly five decades, the conflict remains unresolved, leaving the humanitarian and human rights situation fragile and deteriorating, and requiring urgent international attention.
